113 yards, shorter than I normally setup. I usually run 125-150 yards. When I setup baits for my paraplegic hunting buddy, he hunts from his pickup on private ground, 175 yards is required so coyote don't hear window motor. Last night I had a fail to fire round, coyote heard the firing pin strike(didn't spook it). I pulled rifle in and closed the window to chamber a new round.
This morning I pulled the round down and found the primer was not fired and had no compound. I was given a brick of Federal 210 and 210M primers, I been working out of those since I believe they are 25+ years old. I will be checking them before using anymore. That's the problem with being in tight to the bait, coyotes have great hearing. And you usually don't get a second chance.
