AR Triggers

I'm thinking about building an AR and would like some input on triggers. On my bolt guns I like a single stage 2lb trigger course I realize that's too light for a semi auto. What triggers are you guys running? And what trigger weight?
Thanks

Bazillion to choose from. My 2 favorites that won't break the bank are Larue mbt2 and RRA national match varmint. Both can be found for around a c-note.

There are some better but at 2 to 3 times as much.

i have RRA 2 stage, dont know what model but its nice and crisp. i have been looking at the hyper fire triggers for a lighter pull. they claim they act like the savage accu trigger

I have used mil-spec triggers, they suck big time for anything other than going bang.
I also have used enhanced polished triggers. Better than mil-spec with some lipstick on it.
Trigger snobs will cringe, but I have Palmetto State Custom AR Single-Stage Drop-in Curved Bow triggers. They are crisp and run around 3.5 lbs.
My favorite trigger is the Geissele SSA trigger. It's a two stage, but I love it. Shoots smooth and crisp.
Just my two cents....

Deltateam2014 has a whole page of AR triggers on gunbroker. I purchased one of the 3.5# several months ago, feels much like a Timmney 3.5 in another of my lowers. I would use anti-walk pins with any drop in trigger. Some of DT2014 come with the pins.

Geissele SSA-E on the only AR I own. It has a clean break to it. They normally have a Black Friday sale. That's where I bought mine 5 or 6 year ago now. I don't remember the discount but it was substantial.

I prefer twomstage triggers there are some good ones available. RRA NM, and Larue are both good and inexpensive. Geissele SSA-E is excellent as are any of the other versions. My current favorite and go to is a Hiperfire X2S Mod III.

I have several RRA NM triggers, LaRue MBT 2S and Geissele G2S. I wore out one RRA NM in a 22 LR with a dedicated CMMG upper. The hammer snapped off but that trigger had been in use about twenty years and tens of thousands of 22’s. I got one RRA NM that went bad real quick in a 22 LR but RRA does not warrant their trigger in rimfire or blowback actions. My RRA NM trigger’s pull weight and feel very more from trigger to trigger than my LaRue or Geissele triggers. I currently have seven RRA NM , three LaRue MBT 2S and three Geissele G2S. I also have a spare LaRue and a spare Geissele in my parts ben that I picked up on sale.

whats the trigger pull on the hiper fire ? no problems with more than one round going off.

Trigger Tech Diamond two stage, adjusted to right under 2 pound pounds. The take up is just right with gloves on and just a bit more pull and ba boom.

I haven’t actually checked the pull weight but it is a short light first stage and crisp second which feels better than my Geissele. Despite the name Hiperfire isn’t a gimmicky forced reset type trigger for rapid fire. They are very high quality.
