I'll get some thermal examples next time I go hunting.  This video mirrors basically what I see:

I'd say it isn't close to the new top of the line or middle of the line stuff, but very functional for the price and being a 384.  I think the video is a good example of how it isn't quite clear because the guy doesn't focus it to be the sharpest possible right before he shoots.  I'd posit that is probably because you have to reach up and over everything and that is tough when the action is moving.  At least that is what I was referencing my experience has been.  Just a lot going on with the scope and the layout isn't perfect for focusing the thermal.  If your goal is to capture really cool and sharp video you probably want a higher end thermal.  If you just want to shoot some predators, capture some ok video, and not break the bank this may be an option.  Like I said before, time will tell.
