Another load of hides

Got back another load of coyote hides. Really pleased with the taxidermist. Cold Prarie Taxidermy out of Medicine Lake, MT. If you live and hunt in the area of North East Montana I recommend him.

Is he actually tanning your hides or just prepping them and sending them to a tannery?

I am fleshing them and freezing them. He is doing the rest himself. I wait until I get about twelve to fifteen and then taking them out to him. He usually gives me a pretty good discount for the bulk amount. I am using these ones to make a blanket for my daughter. I also had an antelope shoulder mount done by him this year and it turned out really good.

Have a dozen at Moyles right now. Works out around 40 bux apiece.

Well it doesn't bother me and I like to support local businesses. Heck, I am 100% positive you could get it done cheaper somewhere else. However this guy is local, does a good job and he is a stand up guy.
