I have other rangefinders from different manufacturers that work very well in negative temps though. If buying a unit for the LRF I’d definitely want to make sure it works well in the temps it says it’ll work.Not surprising that a laser diode isn't working well in single digit temps and colder.
I have vortex Furry AB’s that haven’t skipped a beat down to -30 f. Leupold Rx-2800 has worked down to the same -30 f. Both had sat out in the cold, strapped to chest harnesses, for a full day of calling.What laser rangefinder works as well below zero F as above freezing, I need one.
