A-BOLT + GAMESEEKER = ACCURACY

My BROWNING A-BOLT COMPOSITE STALKER in .204 RUGER arrived on MONDAY. My PENTAX GAMESEEKER 4X16X50 arrived TUES. I went to the range today with some loads that I had made up for my CZ 527. The weather was overcast and windy. I was impressed with the clarity of the scope, after about 6 shots (at 100 yards) I was on the target about where I wanted to be and then I fired 5 shots. I was impressed with the out of the box accuracy.

NICE. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

But your Browning will do better than that with a little load research. The A-Bolt is one FINE shooter. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif

The trigger is heavy on mine it breaks at 3lb.15oz. The adustment is down as far as it will go. Did anyone ever try the spring kits sold by Timney and MIDSOUTH?

/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grinning-smiley-003.gif nice shooting! i love my browning varmint, like hidalgo said, a little load work and it will amaze you. i worked up a great load for mine, and i can get MOA or better

The Timney spring kit will get your trigger pull below the factory trigger pull. The kit has 2 springs, i believe a 2lb and 3lb. I thought they were a great improvement.

I am definitely going to look into that spring kit. If any of you guys are looking for a nice inexpensive scope take a look at PENTAX GAMESEEKER. Is the spring easy to install?

I installed the spring kit with the instructions that came with it. If I can do it anybody can, and by the way it made a world of difference in the accuracy of the rifle

What type of reticle does your Gameseeker have? Does it have the ballistic reticle?
