A bedded coyote

You guessed it. Wind at it's backside. This coyote is resting along a snow drifted fence line. 1/2 mile from where I'm parked. My camera is zoomed in as far as it would go.

Sometimes a coyote will dig itself down into a snow drift, out of sight. Back when I had young eyes. Using binocs, few escaped my view. I've seen 1 ear sticking up or a sliver of their back on a few. I had eagle eyes back in the old days.
