We left my house at 7:45 am this morning to get to our first calling stand at about 8:10 am. We wanted the wind to switch and be blowing up the canyons when we made our first stand. The breeze was perfect and we had two coyotes show up and JP7mag killed one of them with his rifle.

On the third stand Crystal had a coyote run up to about 20 yards away and then turn around and head out at a pretty good speed. Her first shot was a little behind the coyote.

In the above picture you can see the coyote was in a higher gear heading away.

In this picture Crystal's 1-1/4 oz load of TSS #3 shot had just caught up to the coyote that was in a hurry to leave.

This is Crystal with her shotgun coyote.

On the way to the next stand JP7mag made a great running "drive by" shot on a coyote.

We had a Gray Fox pay us a visit.

Towards the end of the day we had a coyote run in to about 25 yards away and turn around and head out. Crystal stopped that coyote's exit with another load of TSS #3 shot.
