62 gr Fusions on coyote?

Has anybody used the 62gr Fusions on coyotes? It appears RMR has some going by the pics but I may be wrong. I ordered 1000. RMR says they are over runs from a major manufacturer whom ask to not be named. I guess they could be something else. I'll find out in a few days.

I havent used the 62gr, but ive used the 95 (90?) Grain out of my 243 on yotes, cougars and a bobcat. Theyre good bullets.

The fusion line is part of Federal's deer hunting line of bullets, even the 62gr in 223 rem. Deer bullets kill coyote, just a tougher bullet than typical varmint bullets.

i know they knock groundhogs on their butt. you'll be good to go on coyotes but the coyotes wont like it at all.

Yes, they performed well.
Broadside shots were of course complete pass-throughs and straight on neck shots really did well with no fur damage.

I have used the factory Federal Fusion MSR 62 gr. to kill deer, hogs, coyotes, bobcats, raccoons, armadillos, crows, feral house cats, and probably some critters that slip from memory. My Rock River Coyote Carbine loves them and shoots itty bitty groups with them. They are also accurate in my BCM Recce MCMR 14.5". This load has become my go-to load for all things hunting and self-defense.

Yes, put them to work on killing a few or a lot of coyotes & get back to us. I have only messed with some 95 gr Fusions that I came across as pulled bullets. Gave those w whirl in the 6mm ARC. Their performance on water jugs was on the order of phenomenal IMHO. Beautiful mushroomed bullet that retained in excess of 90% of the original weight as I recall & accuracy was rather impressive for a pulled bullet IMHO.

From my limited experience with this type of bullet my expectations are rather high.
