What's your go to barrel length for the lighter bullets? You'd be hard pressed to find a bigger Dasher fan than me, but unless you're going to run it with detachable bottom metal, I'd step up to the 6 GT or 6x47.
I've had two 22 versions and two 6 versions as dedicated coyote guns, and never had an issue with any of them feeding in a regular 700 BDL setup.
Everything I have now is either a 22x47 or 6x47 Lapuas. A little more speed and perfect feeding every time over the Dasher.

Since getting into suppressors, my 22x47 was built with an 18", and a 12" twist for light bullets. What's your go to barrel length for the lighter bullets?
I see...That was for the Super Hogster thermal to be able to get it back far enough for proper eye relief.
I had them on two guns, but sold them both as my new iRay's factory mount extends far enough back to not need them.
Actually, I hacksawed three slots off the front of them, as it wasn't needed & dropped an ounce or 2 off.I see...No need to loan you my hacksaw then .
What kind of speeds are you getting with the 105/108 grain bullets? And data on the 70's would be appreciated as well. I plan to try the 75 vmax when i get one builtSince getting into suppressors, my 22x47 was built with an 18", and a 12" twist for light bullets.
Two of the sixes were cut back to 18", and all of mine have been 8" twists for the 105/108 bullets.
The 1st pic of one of the 6x47's, I do have a nice load with 70 grain Ballistic Tips if I want to shoot a lighter slug.
That particular barrel is a fast one, I'm still at 3050 with 108 ELD-M's.What kind of speeds are you getting with the 105/108 grain bullets? And data on the 70's would be appreciated as well. I plan to try the 75 vmax when i get one built
And that's a 6x47? Its got a little extra gas over the dasher correct? That particular barrel is a fast one, I'm still at 3050 with 108 ELD-M's.
70's are at 3300.
Correct. Dasher burns around 32-33 grains of Varget, 6x47 about 40-41 grains of H-4350.And that's a 6x47? Its got a little extra gas over the dasher correct?
Perfect thank you! Have you had any issues with any of the light bullets coming apart due to the fast twist and higher bullet rpm's?Correct. Dasher burns around 32-33 grains of Varget, 6x47 about 40-41 grains of H-4350.
Rough numbers, a Dasher adds 100-150 over a BR, 6x47 adds 100-150 over the Dasher, all things equal.
For the most part, I never shoot lighter bullets in my fast twists, so my experiences are limited.Perfect thank you! Have you had any issues with any of the light bullets coming apart due to the fast twist and higher bullet rpm's?
How does the 108 ELd do on coyotes? Mine hammers them but blows big holes!Get yourself a 6creed and you’ll have ample brass sources. I’m running a 243 now and have 3 6creeds also ran 2 6x47 lapuas. I will always have a 243 but I will also always have a 6creed. I shoot a 108 eld m at just over 3000 with my creed.
If you hit the square a lot of the times there is no exit if they are close if they are at distance there will be a golf ball sized exit. If you hit em high or guts you’ll have a mess. But these have been the best long range coyote bullets I’ve ever shot. I’ve tried quite a few over the years and this is what I keep going back too.How does the 108 ELd do on coyotes? Yea. They are good bullets. I shoot them in a 6 creed.
