3rd Coyote With Infiray Bolt TL-35 v2

Last night I got coyote #3 with the new Infiray Bolt TL-35 v2. Sadly I did not get video. I pushed the record button but somehow it didn't engage. I only took a photo after the kill. I thought I had it recording. Drats. Would have been a good video, had two coyotes in view and dropped one right there. The other ran a short distance slightly over the hill contour so that I could not see all of him. I felt confident in the shot but in hindsight should have waited. I think I missed, which is only the second miss I have had in the last 13 seasons. Regardless, I got photos. Trail camera videos show three coyotes at the bait recently on the 20th. I knew there were two coming and then a 2-pointer earlier. I think they may be running together now, minus the 2-pointer I got last night.

I used the Weatherby Vanguard 25-06 with 70 gr. Sierra Blitz Kings. There was no exit, which is amazing from a 25-06. Velocity is slightly over 3400 fps.

Thanks guys. I have been saving a couple of kills on video that I haven’t posted yet, hoping to add another kill or two in hopes of having a more interesting video to post. This was the opportunity I had been waiting for to finalize it, and I blew it. Stuff happens.
 
I am not looking at any more post without video .... (I failed to hit record on my last one lololololol).
Congrats 06 on another shack rug.

I noticed on my TH50 v2 the first push of the record button is the camera, and then I have to hold the button down for the recording to start. I don’t let off the button until I see the timer start.
 
Yep, Erie I will have to be more cautious with that in the future. Actually I knew that already, and thought I had it recording. I was half asleep at the time which could account for it too.
