Looking to purchase a 300 win mag.
Ruger Hawkeye Hunter FTW
Savage Timberline
I’ve been looking at these two models.Anyone have any input or experience with either of these?

I would consider a 300PRC before you make a purchase, lots of advantages that makes it a great modern upgrade, especially if you reload.
 
Man to be completely honest everything i have is customs but if i was in the market for a factory gun Tikka and Bergera are on the short list.

Wasn’t the Ruger FTW but I used to have the heavier Ruger Hawkeye LRT in 300 win mag. It only shot great with 190-208 grain bullets. I sold it and got a Seekins PH2 in 300 win mag. That gun liked any bullet I put in it.

I preferred the Seekins over the Ruger.
