Want to get the best powder for my Springfield xd 3.5 9mm
Got some numbers for unique 5.1 to 6.1 accurate #5 5.7 to 6.7 and titegroup 3.2 to 4.2 last time I shot the titegroup felt the best at 4.2 seemed a little weak anybody got any suggestions

You using a chrono or WAG on the the hand dyno?
What exactly are you looking for/trying to achieve?
What does "Best powder" mean in your mind?

Personally I use titegroup in just about everything although it's inception was for use in large capacity revolver cases using light charge weight. I'm just looking for the most PEWS per # regardless of cartridge.

Want a smooth fire, titegroup is great with my 45 just checking how it feels so far titegroup stays 4 grains is ok feels a little weak, or soft, don't want a snappy kick just looking for something smooth easy to control with my 3.
5" my 5 " 45 feels great just looking for something I like, I'll chronograph the fps just want something good, thanks

WTF is a "smooth fire"?
Guessing this is why no one else has replied either. Many many factors play a roll in felt recoil. Not only powder/change and bullet weigh but also the weapon style/grip angle.
Hard to compare a 5" .45 to a 3" 9mm especially if your comparing a 1911 to a striker fire polymer pistol.
Also your typing is a bit cryptic and hard to understand.

Good luck finding Unique. Alliant powders like Unique and #2400 are on hold as Alliant has shifted their focus to filling military orders.

I was given about 4 -5lbs that's what I started with, I just enjoying retired life building guns and bullets I like titegroup, just trying the unique or alliant see how it does.
