Ken and I got out Thursday night for a little while. We hunted two farms and heard some on the first that sounded like they were a mile away but never saw anything but two dogs from a neighbors house.
At the second farm we called in two and got a double at a little over 200 yards. We could see Ken’s but mine went down in some grass so I put my laser were I saw him drop.
We were overlooking a big river bottom and could see for a 1/2 mile or more. Ken said “I’m going to take my gun in case some more come in while we are getting the first two”.
Well he made a good decision because two more came in. He killed one and missed the other.
We had planned to hunt 4 other properties but a thunderstorm was bearing down on us so we headed home.
