Went out on Thursday night to give it a try. The wind was from the SE and it was very cloudy. Set up on the east side of a swamp with the caller 75yds south and 75yds east of me. Started out with some howls and waited. No answer at all. Went to the rabbit distress and in 2 minutes, I had 2 charging in from the NE. The male stopped at about 115 yds facing me. Shot and hit the front left leg. The spinning began, 2 more shots and its down. The female took off to the NW. Change to a coyote fight, and in a couple minutes, here she come back. Coming straight in to me, she caught the scent of the down male and goes straight to him. As you can see from the picture, this is where she laid.
Went to another spot and set up. The call was set 100 yds straight south of me. Wind was blowing SSE and had pick up some. Standing by a big oak tree and watching to the west. Had a group lite up SW of me after my howl. Waited and nothing showed. Went to rabbit distress and nothing showed, changed to coyote fight sound and in 3 mins here come 3 coyote running in from the NW. Got 1 to stop at 100yds and down it goes. The other 2 wouldn't stop as they ran away.
