What mags are you guys using for 204 AR-15?

And how many rounds can you load in one

Stainless 223 mags. Load however many it holds.

I’ve had good luck with 10 round Duramags.
I usually drop a single round in the tube before I close the action, then have 9 in the mag. 10 in the mag gets a little tight.

I use 20 round metal mags and load 10

I use pmags and grind off the internal rib. I would have to go see what it holds.

Aluminum or stainless 10 and 20 round mags. Can fill them accordingly. Plays are hit or miss on working with the 204

For years the ASC stainless 223/556 mags were what the 204R AR shooters recommended. One of the reasons I went with a 20p build. I didn't need to buy any more mags/or keep them separate. I run 10 rd magpul for my 17 rem, another cartridge that AR builds can have feed issues. Rarely do I put more than 5 in. When it is very quiet and I need to be ultra quiet walking I will carry all the rds from my pack in a mag(s). No rattle, no ecaller, smalls inside extra mittens to reduce noise.

Brownells 556/223 aluminum 20 round magazines. I usually load 19. I think they seat a bit easier on a closed bolt. Colt mags work fine too.
