12th Coyote With Infiray Bolt TL-35 v2

Well, the coyotes keep coming and this has turned out to be my best year, currently at #15 with last night's male at 86 Yds. I believe this is one of the three that has been coming, which leaves the crippled one still out there. I may get to hunt another night or two before I call it quits for the season. Even though I can hunt them all year, I choose to quit in March. Would be nice to add Tripod to the list. I am liking the new Infiray Bolt. Has held zero well.

That was an amazing shot, David. I could barely see that little dot out there and you dropped him. Just a reminder, were friends and I'm on your team. I was wondering though, did you straighten his back legs straight like that or is that the way he died? I'm gonna call you in a day or two. I'm needing your help doping the scope on my 6.5 Creedmoor.

No, I didn’t straighten his legs. He straightened them himself. Will be glad to help with the scope.

NR, I seem to get bored using the same equipment over and over. The Grendel took several over a few years so I wanted to use something else for a change. I got this new scope last year late in my hunting season, but it is quickly becoming a favorite, especially on the Weatherby 25-06. That combo is both accurate and lethal with the Blitz Kings.

David that bullet was not quite as fur friendly. I have learned the same bullet does not always produce the same results. Nice job.

Old Cat, I think I hit the coyote at a slight angle which caused the wound. The wound was not bad at all compared to the blood spot. You are right, though that bullets don’t always give the same results. The Blitz Kings have performed very well on broadside shots, but all bets are off on angling shots.
