Got this fat female last night. Pretty simple set up.... She came down the field to "Mrs. CottonTail" and sat down on her rump at about 100 yards. I put the crosshairs on her chest and shot, but (I have no clue why) I pulled the shot BAD. She took off on a trot and I got her with the 2nd shot about 25 yards before she entered the woods. Will post video later. Also. for some reason my camera won't focus when the flash is on, so bad pic. 6mm ARC 75gr Vmax.

33lbs which is a very hefty female for SC.

Haha! Way to go!! I just commented last night on the “Missing” thread about missing the first shot but always able to nail the second shot, lol!!

I kinda rushed the shot because the field isn't that wide so if she took off she would be in the woods in just a second. I should have just gave her time to stand up and turn broadside. She wasn't spooked at all, just trying to figure out where the sound was coming from. I think what threw the shot off is I had my right hand on rifle, not the tripod. You can see in the video that the crosshairs are dead center of her chest, but the moment the rifle goes off they are 3'' to the right.

I thought we cleared this up months ago buddy… You use a flimsy, flexy, pogo stick BOG tripod. Aluminum one too, if memory serves me correctly. 🤣

Now go to the “Missing” thread and explain your shooting shortcomings. 😆

But seriously, nice job on the followup shot. I would have taken the 2 shot kill over the standing in the rain and calling in nothing that I was doing 😡
