1/10/25 Coyote

I got set up on the field edge facing west with a SSW wind. This spot is boarded by a large piece of state land to the south and west. As soon as my opening howls started, the woods to the west lit up with rally cries.



I expected the coyote(s) to come from the west, but the first one I spotted came from the north. He started moving again just as the shot broke and my follow up shot was just plain awful. Had to put a third one in him.

It's funny you say that. Yesterday I noticed I accidentally left the comments on the YouTube video and was getting beat-up by some key-board heroes that apparently never make any mistakes! Land owners that ask me to kill coyotes on their property never ask me how, just how many!

You can't win them all Wolverine, just gotta keep it moving. Things can go sideways in a hurry and you made the best of the situation, no use in beating yourself up. Happy hunting.
