Livingston, Montana in mid July?

My wife and I are going to be in Livingston area of Montana July 14-20th and was wondering if any local CYOT hunters could show me some good public land to try or friendly local Ranchers that are open CYOT help? I’ve studied the Livingston valley on OnX and spot a few places but a lot of places are lock in by private land! Any help or ideas are greatly Appreciated!
 
There's very little public land that isn't straight up and down around Livingston. I leave them alone that time of year so they can raise their pups.
 
I was going to suggest getting maps from BLM however, after looking at BLM doesn't seem there's much public around there. I used to live in WY. and there's a boat load of BLM land there . Check out this LINK Experience
 
That is dead center their busiest time of year. There a gateway to Yellowstone.
If you don't have a hotel yet you probably won't get one within in 80 miles. Good lick.
